Cooking quaker oat bran? - quaker hot cereal
I've never really cooked hot cereal before, but I was wondering, Quaker Oat Bran, I can give something in a bowl and add hot water?

You can do so only if it immediately, but usually it is best to keep everything in the microwave for a minute or 2 zap that oats are softened. What is your instructions on the packaging suggests? Me too me in the oven if I have more than one serving.
